Pathfinders is Our Q3 Winner

At our September meeting, we chose Pathfinders to receive our donations. Pathfinders focuses on tutoring, mentoring, and teaching good stewardship, strong work ethics and respect for others.

See you in December!

Catching Up Again

Not sure how I let this get so far out of date again! Here’s a catchup post.
In December, we chose Meals on Wheels. This venerable program from AgeWell Services helps ensure that homebound seniors have well-balanced meals, including hot lunches and sandwich suppers on weekdays, frozen meals for weekends, and salads.

Our March donations went to Supper House, a program of the Mission for Area People. Supper House serves meals daily across the street from Muskegon Heights High School to anyone, no questions asked.
And in June, Step Up became a three-time winner. They provide housing, mentoring, educational guidance, and life skills training within a Christian environment for young adults 18-24 years old. Step Up serves those seeking a successful transition to adulthood.

Other nominees in June were Family Promise of the Lakeshore and the Tommy Davis Memorial Fund.

We’re very grateful to Hagar’s Hideaway for providing space for us the last two meetings. We expect to be back at Sherman Bowling Center for our next meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 1, and we hope to see you there!

Join us on the first Wednesday of
March, June, September & December
